MUSICAUSE '11

March 5, 2011- Musicause concert at MSU-IIT gymnasium. (The purpose of this concert is to advocate students to start making our lives with a better world) -my own opinion :P



Basically, I have three friends (Kristah, Kim, and Mai)who were part of that cause event last night because they are from the ECHOES band in college. The show really started at almost 7 pm. But we kinda missed the real start of the show cos we were kinda late about 10 mins. or so? We just caught the invocation at the middle part. 


First thought, as I wasn't realizing the importance of this concert and I was not actually going to watch it because for some usual reasons (that I'm lazy to bring myself on those kinds of events). Literally, I knew that my friends will going to perform and I kinda had the feelings that 'Ya know, it would be really great to see them performing but still lazy to analyze how to get there on the said date.' Well, I'm just actually complicating things. Not that when my sister told me that our other friend (Krisha) contacted her and told her that she reserved two tickets for us in case we would want to watch. Apparently, it started to change my intuitive about it. Because Krisha gave effort for us to see our close friend (Kristah) who will first time performing on stage on a real live show. So I got hyped, and excitedly want watch it then. 


When we arrived, I thought I'll be seeing a big crowd inside the gym but (it wasn't unfortunate) they were just few but could still summed up as a little crowd. Which made me more enjoying the entire show, cos I can see directly all the performers and my friends on stage (the reason I persuaded watching it) without any hassle to climb myself up.

But the real outstanding part for me was to see Kristah conquered her shyness and eventually showed up to the crowd and yell to them "HEY, I GOT A TALENT and I'M PROUD OF IT". She really come out from her shell already. I hope that she will continue her passion as it will surely bring her to far places but with still a humble heart of course. May God bless her more and that she would really excel on it too and be better always!

Well, to my other friends KIM (who is the most popular amongst the group) who made the crowd cheered for, really did a great job. With her skills in drumming and singing voice, ALL THUMBS UP! and to Maii whom I knew has the very greatest angelic and superb voice made me wish I could be like her with so much spirit and vibrantly image (APPLAUSE).

While watching them on stage, I was with my sister Pon, and Krit's other friends. We had so much fun cos the other friends of ours were amusingly attentive and participating hilariously on some songs. And they were acting pretty ridiculous at that moment on. But it was super fun! :)

That was it. Had really fun also seeing my other collegues from my IT department. I wish I had pictures with them from Pon's digicam. But I might share it someday as soon as I could grab from their accounts :P 

P.S. I would like to acknowledge and thank my Mom for the dinner and for the tickets :> Yipee! what a wonderful show and was worth watching for ! :D thank you Father God for allowing us to experience this such momentous night with friends, you really let us enjoyed so much. ☺♥

on the add note : we didn't win any raffle draw last night. a girl was so lucky to have been picked and got a brand new nokia phone :( hahahah but it's okay. :D


  

First blog in 2011

Yesterday, it was all unplanned though but we were actually thinking of goin to CDO to get the camera from our high school and closefriend Gail Alexis. And that was the first time to travel alone, or just the two of us of my twin sister without our mom or dad or any older guardian So we took a bus back and forth for the first time in our lives. It was a great experience to travel just like that, and I kinda start loving TRAVEL from that time on.

First stop upon arriving at CDO bus terminal, we took a taxi and went to LICEO DE CAGAYAN UNIVERSITY so that we could meet Gail and waited for her there. When she arrived, we thought we can't enter their school that easy and quick because we are not their students. Unknowingly, their school can let anybody to enter. That amazed us, so we never expect that we could actually had SCHOOL EXPOSURE at Liceo with Twit as the regular student and our tour guide together with her husband, Mike.

Fast forward, long story...

So while strolling along the Liceo's hallways and buildings, we took out the camera and took a shot of ourselves in any corner of the school. We love the view, I love the aura of the campus and I love how everything is so organized and really quiet when it is just few of people. I feel like, if I was studying there I know already what spot to take place. So here are some of the funshots we had while in the campus.

That was LICEO DE CAGAYAN UNIVERSITY, though we never really tour the whole campus. But it's not quite big actually, but we were running out of time so we were just able to take most of the left side of it. And as all you know, every place will be a great experience if you meet a new friend, and we just did. 

This is Rodil, our new friend. He's the classmate of the two. Had our late lunch at Light House (eat all you can) in Gaisano Mall.

Finally!

Thank God for this week, so many activities and teachers weren't available too. 


I went today at school at my usual class time though we actually didn't have a formal class. Instead, we were obliged to get there in supporting for our department's ICCF event (well, it's still the same). I mean, I went there not just by supporting cos any way out, they just couldn't see my effort. Though the thing was, I went along with my other batchmates and co-departments in our parade (which was the most high lighted of today's event) from school to some near places and went back to school after then. It was a 20 mins plus walked! And we were all sweating and thirsty because seriously, we are in a tropical country so way expected. 


But so far, I enjoyed caused I got the chanced to get along with my classmates and friends. Especially, getting pictures with them was even the funnest thing, ever!

After which, I'm so glad to the up tight that my broken ID but fixed with the help of the masking-tape wasn't noticed by the accountable person of VALIDATING IDs. Cause if it so, then I needed to pay another 100 plus and heck, I don't have enough budget yet. But thinking of my library card's sake, I will do anything just to get it validated or a new one. 


Went to the mall at 10:30 and thought that the cinema there is already opened. Unfortunately, we were just too early and had already bought our lunch with us from Chowking. We got dismay, but luckily instead of waiting for about an hour, we finally thought of the other cinema here in our town and went there instead since they starts at 10. 


Afterwards, me and Dawn went to the cinema to watch the movie MY AMNESIA GIRL, a filipino movie which are starred by two of my filipino favorite actors 'John Lloyd Cruz & Toni Gonzaga'. The movie was okay, it was funny and sometimes a little bit of heartbreaking. Nevertheless, I totally enjoyed it especially that Dawn's contagious laughs spread all over and really hooked me in! And yeah, we accidentally spotted ate Emje with her apparently date of the day, kuya Gab (our plurk buddies) Then, I also paid for our team tshirts in plurk which is designed by kuya Gab too. Whew! :)

Thank God for this day, even though satan spoiled it. I won't make him win at the very end of this day! God is with me and He will fight for me. I have HIS BACK! so better watch out and keep away from me you satan.. >:(

TGIF

Funny that I just need to go to school only at 6-7:30 pm every wednesday and friday. Luckily that it's ironically perfect from the usual starting time of my previous class. Today was my first meeting with my classmates on this subject and to my prof. Upon arriving to school, it was so strange to saw that only few people were there and it was so quiet. Well, I'm not used to this new environment. Gladly, I met my classmates ahead before I thought to myself that maybe we don't have a class again today.

Hey, how did you spend your semester break this year? (especially for those college students like me) Well, one day after my final break from my 1st sem. I went out with my close friends in high school (dew, ferdie, kakak and pon) since Dew came home also to process stuffs that supposedly will happened before the 2nd sem starts again. Unfortunately, due to some conflicts with documents to her mom, they didn't able to push through their trip for China this month and so it was postponed.

Right after this pre-dinner we had together. Dew wasn't able to go with us in the church anymore cos she was rushing to go to her family dined out at Sunburst restaurant.. We went to church at around 8 to lit candles for our loved ones especially that Kakak was her bro's birthday at that time.

October 27, 2010

"Till my heartaches end" was the opening of the movie that day. I asked my friends to watch it and they all agreed. We met up at Gaisano mall at 5 pm. Met kakak first and accidentally met Twit and her mom too at the department store. Stayed there for awhile while waiting for krisha and texted Gigi to follow us as well. 

Krisha arrived. And we bid goodbye to twit and her mom and went to the cinema house. 

We enjoyed the movie, well I think I was just the only one who really enjoyed it. It was a sad ending because they begin being friends from the top again. I also learned something from the movie, especially for somelike like me who haven't had a boyfriend since birth. HAHA :p shessh!

High School life..

Went this afternoon at my alma mater which is also my younger bro's school right now. I always get hesitate in going there again cos I know for sure the feeling of being awkward since I'm not anymore part of this school year. Nevertheless, I went there this afternoon, matured and responsible. I paid there my bro's tuition fees since this week is their 2nd quarter exam (if I'm not mistaken).


I was glad that I've held up my pride away and pursuing to see again my loves in school. Which are my good guidance counselors and some were my teachers way back in grade school. Gosh, didn't think how far already I've got and they are still there at that school giving learnings, values and touching lives for the next generation.
And everything, flashed back in my head as I walked again in the old building's aisle and sensing the memories that I've laid way back before. It's just so nice to be there and felt like a high school student, worry-free! I missed wearing our school uniforms, my friends, the green grass, the momentum of walking along each corridors, the feeling of being a jolly student always wearing a smile everytime I passed in the hallway of the new building. I missed those, everything..

that night I was thinking about that same person whom I always think ever since I was grade 5. I suddenly thought of him after the jeep that I rode passed at their office. It gave me a hopeless thought when I thought of him last night. Then went home, a couple of hours I checked this app in facebook and felt weird at first cause I didn't get what it meant but then, I checked the other possible meaning of this in my life, and found out that maybe it was him that God wants me still to think forever. Or am I just too assuming, and that this is app is not that accurate. >_< I know, I'm just too or overly covered with world. I must believe God directly from my heart.

Well, if ikaw man jud ang para sa akoa. Mag hulat nalang kos hantud hantud bisag dugay pana mahitabo, if I have to wait after 50 years like Claire in THE LETTERS TO JULIET story. I'll sacrifice, as long as God will always there to remind me about you. =)

After a long decade of not seeing him, it was a nice feeling to see him once again though the reason we have him again was because he needed to attend the burial of our grandmother Caring who just died recently last Sept. 23 two days before our Lolo Bert's 11th death anniversary. It was a sad year for me this year but didn't lose hope in giving me such a reason to feel happy even if, cause He let us see our brother whom we really missed for 5 years already.


He is now working at Cebu City and will hopefully have his own family there soon. He works as a Call Center Agent. He just actually turned 25 last Sept. 2. Now he really changed from his physical appearances. He's now bigger than before. But glad to see him so healthy, though he was just diagnosed with high cholesterol and so. But he has maintainable medicines for that.

So he arrived last saturday for the burial, he had a dinner with us at home. And yesterday, we met up and treated him in the movie house at Gaisano Mall where it was his first time to went inside the mall. He was so stunned about how big it is. HAHA! and it was also our first time to watched in cinema as well. Very worth remembering. :) 


After that, we mostly strolled GMALL for about nth time since we were exploring some stores inside it. Then we met kuya's cousin from her mom's side. And then grabbed the opportunity to get some photos with him too. Then that's the starting point of our picture taking happened at the food court. HAHA! Before that, I asked kuya about getting something for his fiancée as a gift before he leaves tonight to Cebu. But kuya refused and said that it's enough that we already have the thoughts to share our blessings to them. That was fun. :D

We didn't brought Jr along cause he is a type of person who complains a lot especially if he knew he could overcome his companions. HAHA but still wishing he was able to be with us yesterday. Glad he enjoyed himself in the cable tv. Good thing! =)
